At our Stratford Facility – design and manufacture turn key solutions for a vast variety of customers in need of Nuclear, Chemical Mixing, Heat exchanger, Autoclave Systems requirements including Fuel storage and misc. custom designed Pressure and non pressure designs, Following ASME, PED, ULC and API certified design criteria.

Compensation: $27-30 per hour based on experience

Shift: Afternoon: 4:00pm – 2:30am Monday to Thursday

Job :

We are looking for a Skilled Welder Fitter  who are able to weld fabrications and parts as per supplied drawings. Our design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities can produce a virtually endless array of products of nearly any size. Ninety percent of Steelcraft EP products are manufactured in-house.

These include:

  • Pressure/process vessels and reactors
  • Mixers – Agitators – Dispersers
  • Heat exchangers
  • Autoclaves & Quick opening doors
  • Custom Designed Fabrications

Your Skills Set:

  • You have at least 5 years welder/fitter experience
  • Proficient Blue print reading skill
  • Highly proficient Fitting skills including prepping and materials to meet Blue Print specifications
  • Highly proficient welding skill in Mig – Hard Wire, Flux Core

Stick – an asset | Tig – an asset | Sub Arc – an asset

  • Red Seal Certification an asset

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have experience in self shielded flux core arc welding of steel pipe piles and structural steel, and have a strong background in heavy construction. The work environment is almost entirely field based and welders will be called on to do a variety of other construction related tasks in between welding. This can include working with cranes, operating mobile equipment, and partaking in various other components of our work. Our aim is to train new hires into highly skilled, well-rounded, and productive employees capable of executing multiple aspects of our specialized heavy construction work.

Qualifications:

  • CWB certified (Flux – All Positions).
  • Trade certification Level B, or equivalent. Level C may also be considered.
  • 2+ years experience in heavy construction.
  • Experience welding pipe piles or pipe is preferred.
  • Experience with rigging and cranes is an asset.
  • Experience with mobile equipment is an asset.
  • Experience with carpentry is an asset.
  • Ability to supervise or manage others is an asset.

Compensation:

Based on the individual’s abilities, experience, and level of training completed. Typical heavy construction experienced ticketed journeyman wage is +/- $51.25 per hour. Foreman and supervisor level opportunities also available. Junior or entry level positions also available to suitable persons.

Aversan Inc. ( ) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides Engineering expertise in the Aerospace and Defense industry. We are currently seeking a CNC Operator for our client located in Mississauga, Ontario. As a Welder, you will manufacture detailed parts and assemblies from blueprints, sketches, drawings and verbal instructions using a variety of tools and equipment and especially the joining of metals by welding or brazing. Basic knowledge of metals and welding/brazing equipment is essential.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Determine how to set up work area based on instructions received.
  • Operates metal removing and joining tools and machines and other supporting equipment often using mathematical calculations.
  • Trains others in the welding trade when directed.

Requirements:

  • Must have minimum of 3 years Welder/Fitter experience and/or have completed a certified welding course.
  • Must currently hold a CWB welding tickets, or able to attain, for stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum in the SMAW, GMAW/FCAW, GTAW welding processes, multiple positions.
  • Must be able to read and interpret Engineering/Shop drawings, sketches, and AWS welding symbols.
  • Ability to work from Manufacturing routings (work orders) or verbal instructions.
  • Good understanding of distortion control and ability to weld to a tolerance range from 1/8″ to 1.010″ where require by drawing.
  • Experience working with material including Aluminum, Steel, and Stainless Steel to CSA, W47.1, W47.2, W59.1, W59.2.
  • Understanding of ABS and Lloyds welding code an asset.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain security clearance.
